Senior SOC Test Engineer

Job Description:
Develop and launch to production ATE for system on chip ICs for wireless systems that include radio and baseband hardware. Will work with Design Engineering to assess testability, develop and implement test strategies, document test plans, develop ATE test programs and hardware, correlate tester and bench measurements, provide ATE characterization data, and transfer test to manufacturing, offering ongoing sustaining support for each assigned project
Skills / Experience:
5 to 10 years experience developing hardware and software for RF receiver / transceiver applications, bench correlation, and launch to production.
Test experience with high-speed mixed signal production test systems with RF tuner, analog, memory, and embedded processor functions.
Background in scripting language, VEE/LabView, C programming and Unix, or Visual Basic
Familiarity with Catalyst RF or IFlex-RF Teradyne test platforms.
Must be a good communicator, team player, have project planning/organization skills, and demonstrated analytical thinking. Ability to debug RF, analog and digital test problems is essential.
Excellent board/system level debugging/troubleshooting skills and lab equipment proficiency a must.
Drive cost reduction, yield improvement projects.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Requires intimate work with US and Asian test and backend suppliers.
May require travel occasionally.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
